Library Science: Integrating Drupal with a Digital Asset Management System

Libraries, archives, and many other institutions use a digital assets management systems to track their collections. Often these systems have powerful search engines and terrible interfaces; they're good for researchers, bad for attracting people to your collection. By looking at real world examples, we'll talk about ways you can integrate DAMS with Drupal through use of APIs, feeds, services, and other tools. The session assumes a basic knowledge of XML, JSON, and knowing how to work with a REST API.
